In addition to massage therapy, I can treat many musculoskeletal conditions including back and joint pain, tendon pain, strains and sprains and biomechanical issues.
Following a thorough initial assessment, I use a combination of "hands on" techniques, including:

The length of treatment may depend on the severity of your symptoms.
All initial treatments will include a case history, and will take 45 - 60 minutes depending on the body part and condition.

What is Sports Massage?
Sports Massage is the term applied to the discipline of using massage for the specific benefit of all sports and exercise participants. It covers the management, manipulation and rehabilitation of the soft tissues of the body e.g. muscles, ligaments and tendons. It is also sometimes referred to as Deep Tissue Massage.
What are the benefits of Sports Massage?
You do not have to be a sports person to benefit form a sports massage. Most people can benefit from a deep tissue massage to relieve excess muscle tension and tightness. It can also be very effective in relieving muscles in spasm and can be used in conjunction with other therapies such as osteopathy, physiotherapy and chiropractic treatment.

A 10 minute cool down massage can improve an athletes rate of recovery and aid relaxation after a stressful event.
